(August 22, 2021, 5:45 pm)We have been going to Master Lim’s Martial Arts Institute in Westfield since my son was 4 years old. We have been so happy to be part of the family and community. Master Lim and his team provide the real deal experience and teach the foundation and build upon that as they grow. They teach in a fun way, but instill respect and discipline in their students. I highly recommend this school. My son is now 9 years old and is a black belt junior and still enjoys going very much!

(August 22, 2021, 4:24 pm)Master Lim is the most patient person I know. To our family, he is a super-hero. In class, he manages to be commanding, yet sympathetic and light-hearted...and is able to conduct very effective and fun classes for 4 yr olds as well as for 40 yr olds (and up!!). We have grown to consider Master Lim's family as our own. Obviously, he is a spectacular martial artist (always in awe of his demonstrations); we've learned so much from him and gained agility, flexibility and flat out kicking/punching power.
One thing to add (that I find most surprising)... he teaches hundreds of students, and I've NEVER ever heard him mix up anybody's names. CRAZY!! but true. Come visit his studio. You won't be disappointed. -

(June 12, 2021, 8:01 am)Our daughter was being trained by Master Lim for the past three years since she was four. She enjoys each class and gets especially excited when preparing for the belt tests. MAIA was wonderful during the pandemic lockdown, offering virtual classes and limited in-person classes as soon as possible. Their cleaning and safety protocols are excellent. Joon and Master Lim communicate with us frequently and reply to our requests instantly. We are happy MAIA is in our community!

(June 10, 2021, 1:01 pm)Our boy started at MAIA when he was already a blue belt, but his skills just got way better upon his arrival. Master Lim and his team are fun, disciplined committed, caring and spectacular teachers. Highly recommended!!

He is also great with children -- he challenges the students to accomplish their goals and stay focused while also providing a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Master Lim and his son, Joon, have fostered a warm and welcoming community at MAIA. My sons have been going to MAIA for several years now and it's terrific for them - in class they have fun and work hard!
