Market Place Tavern - Brookfield

Had a nice meal at MPT recently....got a seat on a relatively not to busy night and was a solid experience all around.

The order this night consisted of pork belly in a gochujang sauce that gave it a sweet tangy asian flare... it was a solid interpretation.

The yucca fries were interesting...they were more like a mashed yucca consistency (not as dense as I was expecting) w/a nice crispy battered exterior (the really didn't need the ranch powder as they were salty enough) and to finish off there was the

chicken (I forget the name) in a pesto cream sauce that was really good but had to be finished there as it wasnt something that would keep

Overall it was decent food on a decent night and would come back to try something else.

A warm Tavern with great food and even greater service. They know the perfect medium rare for your burger. If you like craft beer, the dark lager is a strong recommend. Ask for John, he will tell you exactly what you need to order depending on what you crave!

I've visited a few times, and the food is consistently great. The waitstaff seems to be keen on dietary restrictions and is always friendly. Fast service with what seems like no inconveniences like running out of or forgetting something. Last time, my girlfriend ordered the Yuka fries, which were different and crazy good. I want to go back for those.

Last night I had dinner with a friend in the "sun room" which was our choice. We were seated instantly and given water about that quickly as well. Drink order was taken and delivered quickly and they were very, very good. Lots of choices on the specials menu for dinner and of course the diverse regular menu. I chose the Chicken Milanese special (toss up for me, our server suggested the Milanese as it was a special) and my friend chose the chicken "bowl". Both meals arrived quickly and were absolutely delicious. Our drinks were on point and our waitress did an outstanding job. We considered dessert but ended up passing and just had after dinner drinks that were perfectly done. Thank you, Marketplace for an enjoyable few hours, well done!

I have to say that every since moving into the area this has been the spot to go to. Food is amazing, atmosphere is great, and the service is not only stellar but fast. They serve craft beer which I am a fan of and your usual ones as well. They also serve fancy drinks if your not into drinks which is also great. Food ranges from delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. One last thing that makes this place amazing..our server Jonathan. He is not only very informed on the menu but happens to recommend the best of everything. Will be frequenting often. See you there!
