I originally called True Value to determine if they had Cambridge paver stones in stock. This turned into many phone calls to discuss the layout for the project and other materials I would need. Pete was extremely helpful and attentive to detail. He returned all of my calls promptly and answered all my questions thoroughly. More importantly he provided great advice/counsel for the patio project: something that only comes with experience. I couldn’t be happier with the material and the final patio! There is no way I could have completed this project in the very short timeframe without Pete and his team. Top notch!

(April 14, 2023, 4:20 pm)The staff is courteous and very helpful! I explained to Mary that I needed a chain and S hook for my hummingbird feeder, and she knew what chain, cut it, and we picked out the right size hook! Shopping local has its perks!

(January 26, 2023, 12:55 pm)Probably the best customer service you're gonna find in any retail type of situation. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Only negative is the prices are usually higher than the big box stores. That said, the sheer convenience, ease of locating items and the exemplary customer service outweighs the slightly higher costs in most situations.

(June 22, 2020, 3:59 pm)Mario’s is a really great local hardware store that goes above and beyond for their customers. They do everything from paint to key cutting to window repair. The customer service is extraordinary. Such a pleasure coming here and feeling happy after leaving the store with all of our questions always answered. We prefer coming here than going to the Lowe’s down the road. If you purchase expensive items, they’re happy to help you get them to your car too!
