He is by far hands down the best barber in NJ and possibly in the USA and even the globe. His knowledge is impressive, if they had a Nobel Prize for barbers, he would be the hands down winner!
I have very straight hair to a fault. Whenever I leave a barbershop I feel mostly disappointed with the result whether I've paid 15 dollars or as much as 50 dollars. This being said, I paid Mario a visit early this morning and left with, what is by far, the best hair cut I have received in 25 years. I am already feeling a sense of loss knowing that he will retire in 5-10 years.
We highly recommend Mario's Barber Shop. With our busy schedule with work and kids sports, Mario's appointments works perfectly for getting my son's hair cut done when we can get there. Mario does a great job using his expertise to get an awesome cut every time.
Mario's hair stlyling and beard triming ability is phenomenal. His technique is current and meticulous. Aside from a nice cut, he has perfected fades and can even handle a hipster beard shaping. Good pricing and conversation, I would definitely recommend this barbershop.
I was looking for a barber that was experienced with beards as I have way more to work with in that department LOL. Mario was excellent. I showed him some pictures and he really took the time to understand what I wanted. The man has skills as he has been a true barber since the time he was 17 years old in his grandfather's shop. I will definitely be back. Thank you Mario!
