(September 9, 2023, 4:39 pm)Forget all about what you think you knew about your body; why you suffer from aches and pains, sore knees, a bad back, or a stiff neck; and what approach is actually going to help you. If you have not consulted Dr. Dennis Mariano, you are doing yourself a great disservice. My husband had sought help from several other healthcare providers for what he believed was a bad knee. The pain, inflammation, and physical limitations had robbed him off his characteristic good-nature and optimistic outlook, insidiously stripping him of his vitality bit by bit, day by day, until he was so worn down by it that he had convinced himself that there was no hope for him, that he was condemned to a life of limitation and/or unwanted knee replacement. Then he met Dr. Mariano (and we will always be grateful to Dr. Carol Perfilio, the well-known and greatly loved chiropractor in Scranton, who recommended him to us).
Dr. Mariano’s holistic, measurement-based approach to assessment and intervention, in conjunction with his knowledge and expertise, readily revealed that my husband’s knees were just fine, but his spine and his hips were way out of alignment (subluxated). For how long, we don’t know, but slowly, over several months of intentional, gentle adjustments, two to three times a week, augmented by naturopathic supplements and helpful recommendations, my husband got his mojo back and I got my husband back. He is now free from pain, and feeling stronger, younger, and healthier than he has in decades.
Dr. Mariano runs his practice with the same high degree of professionalism and efficiency as he treats his patients. His office is as warm and comfortable as he is himself, and imbued with the radiant energy and love that he extends to all his clients.
Dr. Mariano willingly shares his knowledge, too, both informally as he works with patients throughout the day and more formally (but still in a casual and fun atmosphere) at weekly, small-group seminars at which he presents on a variety of relevant, fascinating topics in holistic health. The seminars, highly informative, are free of charge to patients and guests alike.
Working with Dr. Mariano has been, for my husband (and now me), a most wise investment in our health, one that has yielded dividends in all areas of our lives: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Our hope is that this review will encourage others to take that first step towards the life you didn’t know was possible. You have nothing to lose but pain and dis-ease. -

(July 28, 2023, 7:42 am)Dr Mariano is one of those (rare) people who was a lot of knowledge and share with others through his practice. You won’t only get to fix your issue but you’ll learn more about your body during the process. I have had an issue for over 6 years and he was the only one who could find the root cause and treat it. I highly recommend him and his staff! Great people with the heart and intentions in the right place!

(May 25, 2023, 9:13 am)Just a heads up, this is going to be a LONG review so let me just start by saying I highly recommend Dr. Dennis Mariano of Mariano Holistic Care Center. If you have the time, and interest, please see my story below:
Wow, what a difference 8 weeks makes! I have suffered from on & off lower back pain for 10+ years. In October of 2022 I woke up with severe lower back & nerve pain on my right side. The pain was so bad at times that I couldn’t think of anything else and found it impossible to go about my day.
My 1st stop was an orthopedist . . .
I was prescribed a 6 day pack of steroids, NO relief! That same doctor recommended an MRI because he suspected I had a bulging disk. Results came back & I did NOT have a bulging disk. The only thing the MRI showed was “a little arthritis & normal wear & tear” for someone my age (53). His next recommendation was to try a facet joint injection so I gave it a try . . . ZERO relief! Since that didn’t work, he said I had one more option which was another injection in a different joint (can’t recall the name) in my lower back. Not only did it NOT help, it made the pain WORSE!
I was hopeless, in tears often & thought I was out of options, but then . . .
a colleague of my husband mentioned she had laser treatment on her back & it was a game changer. She is located in a different state but sent me the information re: the laser. I searched the manufacturer’s website, found a local doctor that was listed as provider in the area, and that’s when I learned of Dr. Mariano & Mariano Holistic Life Center.
I called for an appointment & they were able to get me in very quickly. This was my 1st experience with chiropractic care so I was a little nervous and (a lot) skeptical. I am here to tell you Dr. Mariano’s approach to chiropractic care was not what I expected.
The laser, in conjunction with regular adjustments, has been life changing. I always made the assumption that an adjustment meant I would go in, have my back cracked & sent on my merry way. Well, it’s not! I can’t speak to other chiropractic care but that’s not the approach at Mariano Holistic Care Center.
I was hopeless and resigned myself to the fact that I would have to live with the pain. I’m just shy of the 2 month mark and I finally see the light (and it’s not an another train coming).
In addition, Dr. Mariano and his staff are warm, welcoming & I felt like belonged right from the get go.
At the very least, go for a consult! You will not regret it, I promise! -

(February 12, 2023, 11:20 am)Dr Mariano’s practice is the real deal. He and his staff deliver on every level many times the value and results one might expect. This is a place where you can develop and maintain a radiantly healthy holistic wellness…for life. And I suspect it doesn’t matter where you are starting from today. I have met with many holistic practitioners in my travels over the years and have only found one or two at this level. Dr Mariano is truly worldclass. His mastery and orchestration of all points of wellness are apparent and executed brilliantly. You can trust his process. Adjustments are gentle and precise…what stands out for me is his system for creating the openings for your body to build your wellness...based on what your body needs. For example, his adjustments are based on what the body tells him it needs systematically and address the different ways gravity affects you as you move through space. And he has systematic approaches for emotional, diet, homeopathic etc.… all orchestrated based on what your body needs at any given time. Dr Mariano is a gift and a master.
I am halfway through my initial treatment plan and have made incredible progress. My body has unwound and rebalanced. Significant issues I’ve dealt with for decades (which I had previously resigned myself to) are gone. I don’t think I felt this healthy and balanced even as a child. You owe it to yourself to visit Dr Mariano and experience unlimited wellness. That’s how I feel here…like there are no limits to wellness.
