(February 1, 2023, 10:32 am)I would like to write a strong letter of support and endorsement for Margaret Hartner Mass. Some years, before Margaret's employment with ENT & Allergy Associates, I had a frustrating situation with my 94 year old mother who was staying with us for the summer. She had severe hearing loss and was supposedly being helped with hearing aids. She would play the TV so loud that it was too loud for us working two floors above. She would miss a good part of any conversation.
Margaret came to our house, did some preliminary testing, and explained to my mother and me what was going on that prevented my mother from hearing. She directed us to an ENT specialist and a place to get her hearing aids checked.
We found out that her hearing aids were not functioning properly. The end result was that my mother's hearing was vastly improved, which made a huge difference in both my mother's and our lives. Margaret refused to take any money.
Margaret demonstrated strong professional competence. Her good people skills put my mother at ease. She took the time and explained things in a way that was easily understood. The medical profession could use more people like Margaret.

(December 31, 2022, 2:20 pm)I was referred to Megan Mass for an auditory test to assess my degree of hearing loss. I was not surprised to learn that my hearing impairment was significant enough to warrant looking into hearing aids – not surprised, but not thrilled either.
Megan turned out to be the kind, caring type of doctor that you wish for but seldom actually meet. She took the time to answer all my questions fully, and patiently explain all my options, rather than use my visit as a sales opportunity. When a mishap subsequently occurred (which was entirely my fault), Megan went above and beyond, turning what could have been quite a negative experience into a remarkably positive one.
I do not frequently go out of my way to write these types of glowing reviews, but I am writing this one solely at my initiative to say to Megan: Thank you for your professionalism, your guidance, and your assistance; and to say to any reader of this “review”: I cannot recommend Megan Mass highly enough! She is a winner!
