So this is a long review… just a forewarning. I really felt the need to share this, because I waited one year to see Dr.Silverman; and truly it was so worth the wait. I had concerns my daughter potentially had autism, since she was literally non verbal and about to be 3. I had taken it upon myself to really sit down everyday and teach her vocabulary.
Anyways fast forward we saw dr Silverman in April of 2022. She was extremely thorough, went through so many questions and explained anything I didn’t understand. Our appointment was not rushed at all. She answered all my questions and provided me with more information.it was about a 2 hour appointment. I will say this spend some time bring any early intervention reports you have or reports from therapists if you’re child is already seeing anyone. Write down questions because it’s a long appointment. I even kept a small diary where I wrote her behavior down for the day, and hat set her off to have a tantrum. Any odd behaviors. Go as prepared as you can. It will make your appointment that much more valuable for you and Dr.Silverman. I’m so happy we had the opportunity to see her. In a moment when you feel like your world is just upside down she is definitely there to help guide you and provide answers. I hope this review helps some of you prepare and also look forward to your appointments with her.
Dr Silverman is great to work with. We have so many families in our practice who are happy with her practice, and get the support and answers they need from her.
I have been going here for many years and it is such a great place. Margaret Riley is great! She takes the time to get to know her patients and my kids really like her and all the people that work there are nice!
