(July 28, 2023, 5:21 am)Nice and clean dining area. The bathroom was sparkling clean. Friendly staff and the food was great! Reasonable prices on the menu too! Cute little treasure chest given after the meal with the dessert menu in it. Candy to enjoy even if you didn’t purchase dessert.

(July 19, 2023, 9:03 am)We finally got to try this place. I ordered the prime rib and my husband ordered the fish & chips. The food was just okay. The prime rib was over seasoned and my husband wasn’t impressed with his meal, so I gave my prime rib to him and we packed up the rest of his fish. I ordered a chopped salad as a side. It was delicious and fresh. The rolls were okay. I took home a slice of key lime pie for dessert and it was creamy and delicious. I especially liked the crust.
Felicia was our server and she was phenomenal! She made the entire dining experience enjoyable. I even overheard someone at the next table saying when they return they’re going to ask to be seated in her section.
I wish there were more non seafood items on the menu. If there were, I’d return and give them another try. But since there aren’t, we most likely won’t return. -

(July 10, 2023, 12:01 pm)Wow, this place had all the ends tied up tight! Food is fresh, cooked to perfection and served perfectly by the staff.
Management came by the table twice, but was not creepy or overbearing at all. The server was a younger man, but he hit it out of the park. It's clear he was trained properly by management. The decor is modern but also rustic; and most importantly clean! The little touches were all there right down to the dessert presentation. It was a treasure box salt taffy. But also a dessert mat rolled up and with the appearance of a treasure map.
This is exactly what every restaurant should try and emulate. Not the theme of course just the overall knowledge of how to run a proper restaurant in 2023. I was told it is a new restaurant. The only advice I could possibly give, would be do not falter on your high standards. You're rockstars! -

(June 12, 2023, 12:46 am)Great overall experience! This location has been open less than a week, so it wasn't very crowded when we showed up at 3pm on a Sunday. I made a reservation thru Open Table just to ensure we didn't have to wait. We were seated immediately by the hostess. Our waiter, Caleb, was fantastic! He was quick to bring our drinks & appetizers out. He frequently checked in to see how everything was and ask if we needed anything.
We have absolutely no complaints about the food. There's lots of seafood options on the menu as well as beef, chicken, salads, and sides. Our entrées did not take long to be served. My husband enjoyed a pound and a half of king crab legs. I went with the beer battered shrimp and a baked sweet potato. My sons ordered fish & chips basket and crab Norfolk. They ate everything! For dessert we shared a funnel cake sundae and had cappuccino.
This was a great first experience and my family will definitely be back in the near future! Our meal came to $225 which was reasonable for all we ordered. I would definitely recommend Marblehead Chowder House to anyone looking for good seafood locally!
