  Feels like they really care. I took my 8 puppy boxers to get their tails clips and the doc explained everything and did a great job. Been taking my dogs their ever since. 👍🏻 great vet.

  I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. I'm down on the island for the summer months and needed a somewhat emergent appt (to be seen that day) for my pup. I called another local vet and was greeted not so friendly by their receptionist and was told that they aren't an emergency vet. I wasn't calling saying it was an emergency but rather that I wasn't a current customer from out-of-town that was looking for an appointment to bring my pup in that day. I then contacted Manahawkin Vet and was offered an appointment time even though we weren't regular patients there. While waiting, a woman came in with her kitty and had same issue where she needed to be seen that day. She wasn't a current patient at Manahawkin Vet but was with the other vet that I called earlier that morning. They told her the same thing which I found odd since that was her normal vet. The receptionist was a bit snippy with the lady too. Anyhow, we met w Dr. Bodman and I couldn't be more pleased. He took the time to explain in detail my pup's issue, medications, pharmacology of the previous and current medications, etc. He was patient, informative, and professional. The service was reasonably priced IMO.
  If I hadnt been able to get an appointment, I wouldve most definitely had to go to an emergency vet which is quite expensive. Thank you Dr. Bodman and staff for seeing us that day. I will be passing the referral on to others on the island. Definitely a 10/10. Lita 🏝🐕thanks you too 😊

  Dr.Bodman has taken care of 3 ( out of 20) of our most recent adoptees. He is very knowledgeable and advises what is in the pets best interest. 2 locations.

  Dr. Bodman is really incredible and someone who I can trust my pet with. While you may be here for a long time, it is absolutely worth the wait because of the care he will give your pet. The office staff and techs are also incredibly nice.

  If I had to summarize my thoughts of Dr B’s expertise I’d have to say impressive. Not only is it far and few to find anyone that can make a well informed decision, but that has deductive & reasoning skills, BUT actually dares to use them in this day and age. That alone is worth this man’s salt in practicing veterinarian medicine. Perhaps last of the renaissance men, 10/10 would recommend.
