Note: Google wants me to rate this like a hotel, but it's a campground. As campgrounds go, it's great!
Each site has a covered platform to pitch a tent with a gas burner and light. Water and firewood are included in the price. The owner picks you up from the Beacon train station, and brings your camping gear to your site while you hike. Several hiking options are available. We've done the 5 hour and 3 hour options. The views of the Hudson from the mountain top do not disappoint.
The terrain can be tricky at times, so make sure to pack your hiking boots! -

(May 30, 2023, 10:38 am)Very friendly and helpful staff. The campsite was exactly what we were looking for. Their bathrooms and showers were modern and clean. We ordered food from them that we then cooked ourselves on the grill. This felt like real camping (not glamping), but with great amenities. Highly recommend.

Shuttle will pick you up from the Beacon train station and leave you at the start of the trail, you can hike to the campground. The hikes are of 3 types (5hrs, 3hrs and 0.5hrs)
The staff is very kind and welcoming. Mr. Malouf is an amazing person!
You can order food here (Note: You get raw materials only. You need to boil or cook the food by yourself) They also have a vending machine for snacks, cool drinks and water.
The campsites are clean and well-maintained. There will be a lot of insects so be prepared.
Overall, It's very convenient camping and hiking experience for beginners.
