  I went here in the 70s 80s 90s 2000s. I spoke to a few guests who were very happy there. This place holds the most wonderful memories for me. Not much has changed except they fixed up the main building beautiful and put grandstand around the coral. I counted 30 beautiful horses.

  Such a beautiful rehab and work environment. The clients are amazing and so supportive of one another, and the staff is basically family to me. I’ve never worked somewhere where I felt so loved. I would recommend this rehab to anyone I cared about since it’s nothing like other facilities. If you want a place that isn’t institutionalized this is definitely the place to go.

  After a lifelong of in and out of treatment centers , God landed me at Malibu Wellness Ranch. The uniqueness of the Ranch and their staff, allowed me to feel comfortable enough to start reaching down inside to find and work on the root of my disease of addiction, Malibu’s approach in individual and group therapy sessions gave me the ability to love myself again. The Ranch not only encouraged but allowed me to find and work closely with a sponsor and AA program; which will always be in my life. The staff and working with the horses helped me gain the courage and strength to trudge forward and start working thru the wreckage of my past. My mornings were pleasant because of Jessica and Sam and Dr. Karen meeting all my medical needs and living accommodations. Whatever I needed was addressed immediately; I never had to ask twice. Austin, Pete, Bob, Christine, and Raeann’s groups were amazing. Processing those along with the feelings that arose was done gently with Melody and Ella during afternoon process group. Both of their process groups helped me find the beautiful me that was lost inside . The staff have first hand experience and they really care about their clients. It’s more than a job for them. They care!! Horse backing riding, 3 days a week with Chris and Josh was good food for my soul! Archery, miniature golf, basketball, walking around the pond, or the indoor gym kept me active and I learned to have fun clean and sober again. Early in treatment I woke up one night and couldn’t fall back asleep and even the third shift staff was right there to spend time with me and help me through. Malibu is by far the best treatment center I’ve ever been in. I graduated successfully and can’t wait to return to Malibu for an alumni reunion!

  The location is amazing and the staff were top notch in both counseling and mentoring. The cabins are cozy and really make it seem like a second home. I spent 90 days and truly think that this place is what is going to finally get me to stay sober. The food was plentiful and more than adequate. The equine therapy was nice but there is so many activities it’s hard to pick just one. I would highly recommend this to anyone who hasn’t had success with 1 month programs and even first timers.

  An amazing team and facility! A family member went to the Malibu Wellness Ranch for recovery and was treated with the top of the line care. The Ranch is absolutely beautiful and the staff was extremely accommodating and attentive. If you have someone in your life that is struggling, I would absolutely recommend the Malibu Wellness Ranch!
