West Hill Lake, as advertised did not disappoint; we found a nice private shore spot to relax and picnic. Definitely recommend Main Stream if you are looking for a nice day out.

(June 11, 2023, 6:34 pm)We had a great experience at Main Stream Kayak today. A beautiful Sunday although the river was on the low side(75). The staff and new owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They were candid about the river level and had other options. We chose to run it anyway with some of their rental kayaks and some of our personal kayaks. They loaned us an additional paddle and life vest, and went above and beyond shuttling us to the put in.
Although the river was quite low, it was a great day. We only had to push briefly in only 2 or 3 areas and it forced us to be more technical and pay attention to the river and the flow. We would do it again at this level and will surely be back to Main Stream Kayak. -

(May 28, 2023, 4:18 pm)Perfect service and helpful advice- thank you! I had a great time kayaking the 6-mile paddle on the upper river- my first time kayaking in any level of "rapids"! I got caught up a couple times in the shallow rapids sections but pushed myself out easily, and learned what areas are more/less shallow in those spots. Lots of anglers fishing, good practice maneuvering around 'em.
