(April 23, 2022, 4:37 pm)Excellent presentation today by Professor Sean McClowry tracing the innovations by Les Paul in muli track recording, use of echo, and many other technical developments by local resident (for 60 year) Les Paul, and of course his role in the development of the solid body electric guitar. Other exhibits; Palisades Amusement Park, Mahwah Native History and downstairs a large train exhibit. So much to see! Great staff of volunteers, friendly and informative.

(December 14, 2019, 5:14 pm)Wonderful museum right in our backyard! Amazing exhibits, including the Les Paul guitar exhibit. Notably, you can even play Les Paul guitars for 45 minutes, for a nominal fee. Ask for Professor Charles Carreras. 😀

(January 28, 2018, 7:52 am)We went for the Christmas train display and was not disappointed. It was a great display, so much detail and so many things to see. My daughter loved spotting Thomas the train. I would only say that Thomas should be a running train for all the kids to see.

Mahwah Museum 201 Franklin Turnpike Mahwah, NJ 07430 Opening Day is October 15, 2022 and every Saturday, afterwards until late June. We are open from 1 pm to 4 pm, including the Donald Cooper Model Railroad. Admission to the museum is $5 for adults; children 18 and under and Mahwah Museum members are free.
