  Outstanding!!!! We purchased adorable beginner ukuleles and lessons for Christmas, but we were so busy that we didn't get a chance to make arrangements. Imagine our surprise when we popped in today and were greeted with kindness, and the owner remembered me from November! My girls immediately felt at home and were comfortable with the instructors. Lessons are booked, and we're all very much looking forward to them! #SupportLocal

  Went there to pick up a guitar amp I saw on the Facebook marketplace they had for sale. I met with Frank and he helped me while Sam was doing lessons. They brought out the amp I was looking to buy and Frank played a guitar and tested out all the settings. Everything worked and the amp sounded great. I purchased the amp and a new set of strings for my guitar. I talked with Frank more and he was very friendly and asked me about myself and what music I play and listen to. He gave me one of their business cards if I wanted to schedule a lesson since I mentioned I was getting back into playing guitar after not playing for a while. I would definitely recommend Mad River Music! My first experience there I felt very welcomed and comfortable. I will definitely be supporting this father and son music store. I don't need to drive so far to go to guitar center for what I need and pay an insane marked up price for things anymore. Please support Mad River Music and support local small family owned businesses!

  I've been going to Mad River Music since they opened in 2018.
  Whether you are looking to purchase an instrument or looking to sell an instrument, I recommend going to Mad River Music. They give great deals on the many quality instruments they offer. And any instrument sold to you is carefully looked over and (if need be) repaired to make sure you get all your money's worth.
  
  I've also have been taking guitar lessons from them since 2018. I am always given positive reinforcement, along with great advice. They are patient and know their stuff. They teach adults and children. They are always polite , humble and friendly.
  
  They will make you feel like family.

  Gifted my 2 grandsons, age 8 and 9, with lessons for Christmas. They look forward to going every week, and leave excited about what they have learned. Both Frank and Sam are gifted musicians, and are not only masters at their craft, but also at building confidence in their students. Their love for music is infectious! Highly recommend!
