  Macri School of Music is an excellent place to learn to play guitar. I am a 57 year old student . I have been taking lessons from Frank for over 6 yrs. I have dabbled with guitar off and on through the years but since I have started taking lessons with Frank my ability and the enjoyment that I get from playing has grown exponentially. I really look forward to my lessons and am amazed with how much I have learned. I really look forward to playing now. Frank is a wonderful teacher and has been very understanding of my objectives as a student and really takes interest in my progress. Awesome School and Awesome Guy !

  I was looking for a creative outlet to break up the monotony of the weekly grind and taking lessons here was just the thing I needed. It is the highlight of my week. I took lessons here because of the glowing reviews and I'm glad I did because the praise is well deserved! The teachers here are knowledgeable and carefully selected to make sure each student learns effectively but is also having fun. You learn the necessary theory/fundamentals and get to apply it directly to the songs YOU want to play. If you have a goal in mind the teachers are happy to help you make it happen! I feel like my teacher is invested in seeing me succeed, and he celebrates my growth with me. I have gained a lot of confidence in my instrument in just a few short months as an adult with no prior experience playing bass.
  
  If you really want to learn an instrument in a fun and intuitive way and see real growth- this is the best place around to get lessons from.

  You will not find a better place to learn an instrument or hone your musical theory than Macri School of Music. The teachers are masters of their craft as well as friendly and approachable people. I have been taking lessons from this school for almost 20 years and my weekly lessons are the highlight of my week. The pricing is fair and they have been able to accommodate a wide variety of scheduling needs. The school also organizes public events where students can show off all that they have learned and practiced.

  Macri School of Music is a great place with quality teachers. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for lessons. This is a fantastic school that will tailor its lessons to what the individual student wants to learn.
  
  If you don't want to learn to read sheet music, you don't have to. If you want to, they'll teach you! Want to learn three chord songs to play around a camp fire? They've got you covered. Want to go deeper and learn modes, jazz chords, and music theory? They can do that too!

  I've been taking guitar lessons with Frank for about 10 months now. Within the first 3 weeks lesson time and my regular at home practice time became the highlights of my week. I enjoyed lessons so much that I got my brother, who was just starting at the time, to start going for lessons too. We both agree that learning from Frank is very fun! Frank will make lessons about what you want to learn so that you're playing the music that you enjoy. You also get an understanding of the theory behind the music so that you understand the instrument and aren't just mindlessly memorizing songs. He also suggests other artists for me to listen to which has expanded my taste in music. Frank is capable of teaching any style of music for any level. I only wish that I had started going earlier.
