  I've been to almost every music/repair shop on long island. Rich at LSE is by far the best guitar tech on long island. He's a super nice guy, does phenomenal work (the best, no joke), and gets you your instrument back very quickly. I normally bring my instrument last minute because I'm very bad at planning ahead. Rich will always accommodate. Overall this shop is the best, I can't recommend it enough. I've always had such bad service at other places; I've bounced around between place to place. Once I found LSE, I haven't thought about going anywhere else for the last 4 years.

  I just wanted to say a great job was performed on my Chateau alto sax. I played it last night and it sounds incredible. So much easier to blow now.   My alto sax neck cork had come loose over years of playing. Because of that. air had been leaking out and tape was my temporary fix. I didn't want to go somewhere just so someone could transfer me or my instrument to another repair expert (like some places I've been to do, since their repair expert was only there on weekdays, when I have school and work, and I just used cork grease as a temporary glue and tape to keep it on). Instead I found this place seeing outstanding reviews, only to find they're all truthful. Rich was able to fix it within the next day, sounding amazing again, just in time for my rehearsal tomorrow morning. Rich is s very great, professional, friendly, knowledgeable guy to have repairing your instrument. I highly recommend going to him if you want your instrument repaired well, by an expert.

  We have an old guitar that needed restringing. Rich did a great job on the stringing and totally polished the entire guitar/neck. It looks brand new and sounds great. They offer good value and stand by their work. They are also very patient and offer educational advice for beginners. Highly recommend.

  I had to get cork replaced on tenor sax neck, did not want to go top NYC,
  I was not sure about going here not sure they had allot of experience,
  well they do have allot of experience and sure it was a simple repair
  (unless you try to do it yourself), it was done the next day, Rich is a great guy very friendly and informative and they backup their work!! when I am need of more extensive work ,I definitely will give them my business. Thanks for your professional and courteous service(Rich plays sax along with other family members ) give them a a try you won't regret it
