I've been going to Dr. Fortier for over 20 years now. She has been a pleasure to work with.
You might step into the practice these days and think it's largely cosmetic in nature - which is probably true. But, she has been over-the-top helpful in trying to figure out some unique challenges I've had over the years and has a real academic interest in reading up on what's current and relevant in her field. Her attention to detail and reading on the latest dermatological best practices ultimately was key to finding unique specialists that I otherwise would not have ever discovered on my own years ago. She has regularly followed up offline over the years and shown a general kind and continuous interest in my good health as a patient. I can't think of another doctor that has been quite as proactively engaged.
To be fair, the last 10 years have definitely had some rough patches on the office wait times compared to the first 10 years (I think there has been quite a bit of double/over booking). But, I try to manage that by expecting to wait and scheduling early appointments in advance. At some point in time this used to be an annoyance, but I've long since just understood that this is the way the practice is operating and accepted that as worthwhile...which it very much has been for me personally.
Best Dermatologist. LOVE Dr. Fortier. She is absolutely amazing!! I have been to several other Dermatologists. She is by far the best and nicest.
