  Started training Martial Arts 25 years ago, and this is by far the best gym. I’ve been a member at 7 different locations 6 on Long Island, and 1 in the city. The culture here is unmatched, the coaches don’t just treat you as members but as family. There are hundreds of members, and they take the time to get to know everyone. The training is elite, and the potential to grow is limitless. Whatever you’re looking for in your journey, you can find it here. You’ll meet people who become family, and training partners who will help you grow. This gym has a winning mentality, in and out of competition.

  Very nice place, nice coaches, one of the best free classes I have ever done, btw nice stores and boxing gloves, nice prices too

  Had an introductory lesson with Al. He was very professional and really took the time to teach me proper form! Also had great music playing! I felt like I was in great hands. Facility was also very clean. Can't wait to come back!

  This place has some of the best training out there. With coaches such as Chris Wade and Ryan LaFlare but top level mma fighters it’s no doubt it would be the best. This location is awesome because it’s located inside of a Gold’s Gym and before or after training you have the ability to work out in the gym. This is definitely the top place to train if your in the islip area for MMA. They also have a location in Farmingdale which is just as great. Check them out for sure.

  Long Island MMA is a great gym. Both locations have a great variety of classes for everyone from the casual gym goer, to elite fighters. Also, as a female, I feel very comfortable training there. The Islip location is conveniently inside Gold’s gym. It is definitely worth stopping in and trying out!
