(September 8, 2021, 2:24 pm)Nice beach. No big over the top wave, but just be careful if you bring alcohol cause they circle alot to give tickets. Food truck also there for you to eat little pricey.

(October 14, 2018, 10:45 am)A perfect place to relax on a weekend. The views and the boardwalk are to die for. Witnessed sunset at the evening and it was rejuvenating to say the least.
The food choices are not great but that's okay. If you want a quick day trip outside from New York City, this is the place to go. -

(September 26, 2018, 5:14 pm)Nice sand beach in NY. Don't understand why it is prohibited to skate on the boardwalk, only bikes or pedestrians (??). The entrance fee to the beach for non residents is quite expensive, but is rewarded by well maintained facilities (dressing rooms, showers, restrooms). Could improve people awareness about keeping the beach clean putting garbage in the bins.

All returning Long Beach Patrol Lifeguards must meet all of the aforementioned requirements and must re-qualify at a "run and swim" before the summer season begins.
