  A beautiful campground with many improvements. It had been several years since we'd camped there so it was great to go back.

  It's a campsite. Good price $22. a night. Best spots by the pond. I've been camping here since 1980.
  Bring your RV, tent, or just come for the day. Nice swimming area. Family oriented. Park for kids to play. Bathtubs ask around. Showers are nice and hot. You'll meet some very nice people.

  Best campground for big groups!
  It's hard to get a lot of space and freedom in New York state campgrounds but this one is super laid back and chill. Highly recommended for any big gatherings. We were here with 20 college friends and had a great time swimming, tubing, and fishing in the lake, and hanging out by the fire late into the evening. Rangers are super nice to big groups and try to accommodate in every way to make your stay comfortable. Probably the best camp ground in NYS for big camping trips!!

  A beautiful picture picturesque campground. One can only imagine how beautiful it is when the autumn colors sets in.
  
  This marvelous experience was almost ruined by the greeter at the front gate. She complains about our arrival, and was militant and rude and not accommodating. She needs to be trained better by camp host.
  
  Once you get over that obstacle you will discover this wondrous place. The lake in the middle is a great place to kayak or rowing. The prices were reasonable.
  
  When we went the wind was calm, creating almost mirror like reflection of the surrounding forest and mountains.
  
  The one mile hiking loop is around the lake, which also have other trails.
  
  The campground is extremely well kept. The showers and bathroom were meticulous cleaned by the staff(s).
  
  There is a store on the campground that offers wood and ice. There is kindle fire in side of each bag of wood. How ideal!
  
  The camp greeter's obscene attitude had us almost decided to leave if not because of the lack of cellular service, and unfamiliarity of the area.
  
  But this is a blessing in disguise. Perhaps because of her horrendous attitude, she gatekept people away and maybe that's why this place is so well kept.

  Had an amazing time once again here at Little Pond. Arrived with more than enough time to check in and get to our spot since the hours of check in end at 9pm and just like at a restaurant, you usually don’t try to enter when they’re closed... We usually do a park-up spot but this year we decided to try something different with a hike in spot. After site 71 most are close to the path but we had no trouble making our spot feel like home for the week. The weather was beautiful and since it’s the mountains make sure to bring some rain gear as every year we’ve come there’s been at least one or two storms that kept us in our tent but we were prepared this year to stay safe and dry. The head ranger was a pleasure to talk to and was knowledgeable about our site and that we’d be able to put our kayaks out from it as most lakeside sites have access to the water. We had an amazing time hiking the 3 mile trail as we do every year and love seeing all the different plant and wildlife. Make sure to bring your curiosity and your sense of adventure. My favorite part is making the quick connections with others whether through sharing firewood or supplies at the end of the trip, or meeting people interested in our site setup. It was a blast this year. See you next year little pond!
