As a long time educator I was extremely frustrated to feel so helpless not to be able to find the necessary tools to support one of my students. I felt like our team had tried everything at our disposal and there was literally no one anywhere qualified, able, and willing to help this poor kid and their family. The LIHN Center came through! Because of them, the student has now undergone all of the required testing enabling the appropriate services and next educational steps. The LIHN Center is now our District’s go to and one we will recommend to all others! I only wish we had found them sooner. Thank you Dr. Cohen and staff. Because of you, a fine young kid is no longer being denied their right to an education!
Doc Cohen is NOT perfect. THAT is just part of what makes her the darn near perfect therapist though. Regardless the road you are walking, Doc and her team will walk it with you. Guidance will be provided. Concrete and applicable approaches/responses/etc will be explored. She won’t hold any punches but will also ensure you never leave feeling beat up. If you want someone to humor you, look elsewhere. If you want someone who is an expert in growth and healing, to include areas like ownership, empowerment, and fiercely yet wisely pursuing the future you want, the LIHN Center is where you should be. Most insurance is covered and scheduling is flexible. They acknowledge you and your life and work etc and do everything they can to support you in all aspects. In short, therapy is truly healing rather than one more thing to manage and fit in. The LIHN Center is everything mental health is supposed to be. (No—I didn’t get anything in return for writing this. I googled the site to give the link to a former student and saw the chance to write a review.)
Dr. Cohen and Molly will do whatever they can to help you, i have been going almost 3 years and my 16 year old son just started going, he loves going as much as i do, i always leave feeling positive, they have helped me come a long way, you wont find such wonderful people that want to help you
