I am writing this review for my friend Nan Holland who visited with Dr. Lewis today. She had to have a biopsy in each ear and said he was very gentle; and caring l; he listened to her fears and concerns took extra precautions. Dr. Lewis is extreme professional; and we recommend him highly.
Dr. David Lewis was professional, well-spoken, and thorough in sharing his insights in regards to the medical issues that I was experiencing.
However, the clinic's business practices could definitely be improved to set clear expectations in terms of the service being provided and the amount that will be billed beforehand (or at least tell me when a procedure will be an additional amount). I have definitely learned my lesson to inquire about the patient responsibility of every part of a check-up - in this specific instance I learned after the fact that a nasal endoscopy is NOT part of an office visit and billed to insurance for an additional ~900 dollars. I would've consented to the procedure regardless, but now I'm sitting here writing a review in hopes that others will be more informed.
Great doctor - just know what you'll end up paying ahead of time so you're not surprised.
I cannot express enough how amazing Dr. Lewis and his staff are. Not only did they do a wonderful job with my septorhinoplasty, but when a dog bit my nose just a month later, they did everything they could to help be supportive and fix any/all damage. They are a phenomenal, skilled, caring, and understanding team, and I am so glad to have him as my doctor/surgeon.
Dr. Lewis is by far the best ENT I've been to. I've been to multiple doctors around Bergen & Passaic county and honestly I couldn't trust or feel comfortable with any of them. With Doctor Lewis I felt very comfortable, I trusted that he would do his best to fix the problems I had breathing & any insecurities I had with my nose. He fixed my deviated septum and now, I sleep so much better, I run comfortably now with no breathing problems. I was also insecure with the dorsal hump I had on my nose, and that he fixed and gave me the side profile I always wanted. Dr. Lewis knew I was so afraid of the outcome, he talked me through it all and explained exactly what was going to happen, answered all my questions. Before I went into surgery he was right next to me to comfort and assure me about what was going to happen. I recommend him to everyone I know. He did such an amazing job, my family now would want to go to him for any ENT problems. I cried afterwards at the results cause I was so happy and still now do cause I love my nose... I pushed this surgery for years because I was so scared and Im happy I did. Im so happy I found Dr. Lewis to perform the surgery.
