Lehigh Valley Martial Arts: Pennsburg

  My kids have been attending LVMA at the Pennsburg (East Greenville) location for almost a year. I’ve waited to leave my review so that it would be honest and hopefully help other parents considering sending their kids to this particular martial arts school.
  
  Firstly let me say that the negative reviews are somewhat true. The costs DO increase as your child grows with the program. At first I, too, thought this was questionable and had mixed feeling about their sales tactic. Because that’s how it is perceived - as a sales tactic. However in the end I realized that the increased instruction they receive does indeed match with the cost increase. The classes become much more detailed and intense, and the level of instruction is apparent.
  
  There are two main reason my three children continue to attend LVMA. They are DESHI PATRICK and SENSEI ZACK. They are dedicated, knowledgeable, personable and all around good guys. Neither of them ever seem to have a bad day. They are great with kids and excellent at noticing your child’s strengths or weaknesses. They are open to suggestions and appreciate the feedback. They both work extremely hard and it shows. Deshi Patrick is great at giving us parents a good laugh, too. After a year, my kids still have fun and enjoy their lessons and I still enjoy watching them. They feel pride when they earn their belts and even when they earn their weekly stripes. It definitely boosts their confidence and self-esteem and I am excited to see them in class.
  
  Another thing my kids LOVE is when they get to experience a class with Zhong-Shi, the founder of the school. He regularly makes visits and the kids are always fired up and excited to learn from him and interact with him during class.
  
  If you are even considering LVMA, I strongly suggest you come on down and try a class - I guarantee once you and your child experience a class with Deshi Patrick and Sensei Zack you’ll be sold!

  Love this place! My 5yo is in the beginner class and loves it. He loves to show off his skills to everyone. Deshi Patrick and Sensei Zach are so great with the kids! My son has improved in so many different ways since starting. This place is worth it. We’re so thankful for them!
