(May 3, 2023, 10:29 am)While I had no complaints while living there, moving out was a disaster! I am currently going back and forth with them to get my security deposit back which was $1000. They are trying to charge me a $1500+ reletting fee when I gave them a 60 day notice that I would be vacating at the end of my lease term! I even confirmed it a week later to make sure they have it in their system that I will be moving out. They are crooks beware!!!
Edit: everything has been resolved 3 months later. -

(March 25, 2020, 3:34 pm)I lived at Leander Lakes from Jan 2019 to Jan 2020. I had a great living experience while I was there. The layout/floor plan of the apartment is great. It is very spacious and comfortable. I lived in a 2 bedroom with a den on the 3rd floor by choice because it offered higher ceilings. The apartment offered a lot of natural lighting with the big windows it had. I loved my little balcony, I could sit outside and watch the sun set over the lake everyday, it was perfect for me and my small dog.
My dog loved it there as well. The apartments are very dog friendly, lots of dog owners, my little furrbaby made lots of doggie friends and they would all walk together. My neighbors were amazing!!! Best neighbors I’ve ever had and I’ve lived in 9 different cities around the world, my job causes me to move a lot (active duty military).
As for maintenance, Bob and Bill were good to me. They installed my ceiling fans and fixed things up for me whenever I called within a reasonable amount of time, 24-48 hours of notification. And they were nice to my furrbaby (dog) as well. I never had a any issues.
The staff, the staff was amazing even though it went through some challenging times with the parent company but they were always extremely helpful and polite. I never had any problems with any of the staff members if anything they were great to work with and always took time out to speak with me. They went out of there way to help me and be as flexible as possible. Especially when I was leaving, they were a godsend to my situation. I always kept one communication with the staff so they were always pleasant to work with. They also did a lot of little dinners at the clubhouse to thank the residents. They offered pizza night, wing night, sandwich night and even a pet evening where they gave away snacks and goodies for your dogs and cats.
No apartment is perfect but Leander Lakes was perfect for Gizmo 🐶 and I. Thank you Leander Lakes (Michael and team) for an amazing living experience!!!
