(August 25, 2023, 1:20 pm)My wife and I cannot profess our immense appreciation enough for all that LMA & Sensei Rick has done for our niece in a 1 year period of time. Rick and his assistants take time to engage with the kids on a personal level, to know all of their names, to keep them engaged day in and day out, and to challenge them both mentally and physically.. Sensei integrates life lessons into his teachings, and spends time molding them beyond the physical aspect. Days of hard workouts and sweat are balanced by days of fun and laughter. The kids take pride in learning, and carry it over into their lives outside of the studio. Our niece, who had never previously been involved in a sport of any kind, quickly took to and loved twice weekly practices. Dubbed "Happy Warrior" by Rick, she smiled incessantly during her time on those mats. Due to various circumstances she is not able to continue training beyond her Purple Belt, however we look back fondly and with gratitude on our time with LMA, and highly recommend it for any children who may be shy, introverted, quiet, or just needing a fun experience.

Her confidence has improved already, she is stronger, very motivated and excited about what she is being taught. I knew she truly enjoys herself there when she wakes up and asks me if we are going today! Sensei Rick and Staff are excellent with the students! I Highly recommend!

(May 4, 2022, 10:09 pm)Sensei Rick and the Leadership Martial Arts team are dedicated to providing an environment that my children can thrive in. Sensei Rick teaches much more than martial arts. He teaches life skills and accountability in a structured nurturing environment. My boys have learned some much in the few months we’ve joined Leadership Martial Arts. Their focus and desire to persevere has increased and they continue to grow each week they participate.

(February 27, 2022, 2:51 pm)Can’t say enough positive things about Leadership Martial Arts! Sensei Rick and his leadership team are truly incredible at what they do. They are amazing teachers, leaders, and role models, not only in teaching the skills of karate, but also helping the kids build confidence, self-esteem, respect, perseverance, and self discipline. The classes are full of such positive energy and are very motivating in so many ways. We are so grateful to have found this studio and can’t wait to continue watching our daughter (and little ones when they’re old enough!) grow stronger both mentally and physically in the years to come with this amazing team!

(February 16, 2021, 9:51 am)My son and I really enjoy the Little Dragons classes at Leadership Martial Arts, in Southington CT. We began classes during Covid-19 and had no issues at all. The children get their temperature check before each class, they spread out in their own areas and the mats are disinfected after each class. Sensei Rick is absolutely fantastic with the kids and he is the foundation of Leadership Martial Arts. He is fun, patient and makes each class exciting and unique. I also like how each class builds to the next, with form progression and challenging exercises. My son enjoys the physical actives of the classes as well the leadership and team work lessons. I’m very happy with my son’s experience and I look forward to having my other children join when they are of age.
