  My ex-husband and I hired the Law Office of Jill O'Connor to mediate our divorce. Jill was compassionate while extremely professional. All aspects of the proceedings were clearly explained from the beginning. Jill 's fees were very reasonable and fair and she was able to help us go through the complete process in 5 months, from first meeting to the day in court with judge to finalize decree.   I was already in the middle of a very ugly and contentious divorce when I switched attorneys and hired Jill. She counseled me through an incredibly difficult period in my life and was an advocate for me and my children. She took a very proactive approach to my case and understood that I was dealing with an abusive and irrational spouse that was using the court system to continue his financial and emotional abuse. Jill is exceptionally professional, organized, and has the intellectual understanding of complex financial matters to unravel my ex-husband's financial fraud. I have since recommended her to several friends and will continue to recommend her highly.

  Jill assisted in arguing several motions and was able to also clean up my divorce agreement, where my original attorney missed some important steps. I found her to be easy to speak too and understanding, even when faced with a not so cooperative or irrational person. I would recommend her and have recommended her to friends facing the momentous challenge of a divorce.

  Jill mediated the divorce between my wife and I. She was fair and impartial. Jill was quick to get back to either one who had questions. She took time to make sure we both understood everything. Explaining and walking us through the financial affidavits. She had compassion for the difficult situations. I would recommend Jill to anyone going through a divorce.
