  Amazing place and amazing people that has helped my grandfather thrive! ! As a employee of a senior community myself, my standards are high. After a rough road of hospitalizations and a terrible rehab experience, we found Laurel Manor. Kara in admissions and Jenna the social worker are phenomenal. They brought my grandfather in to their community and he has improved everyday. The employees smile, the residents smile and speak to my children when we visit. Yes, I have children whom I am not afraid to bring to this rehab. I would never bring them to any other rehab I have ever entered. ( 7 years in this business) Its clean, staff is plentiful and available, activity calendars are displayed in every room, there is no odors, the Administrator and DON and Physician will talk with you like a real person. My grandfathers roommate told me " these people really care". I believe that whole heartedly. Thank you for all that you do to bring families back together after medical hardships and lessen stress for families. As my grandfather says " your a jewel".

  My mom was here for long term care. The staff here is amazing. She had dementia and sometimes became very hard to handle. From her first days there until she passed, I always felt safe leaving mom in there hands. Monique would sing to her even though mom would tell her no and as Monique continued to sing mom would calm down. What a special person she was. Before she passed away I wanted to bring up her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Not knowing what the rules were for doing this I called and they told me no problem. When I got there Rayon had my mom all dressed up and her hair was all combed. She put us in a private room which made it so much easier for the little ones. I want to thank all of you for your patience and compassion.

  My father was here for two weeks. You can tell the employees really care which is the most important thing. They go out of their way to make sure the residents are safe, comfortable and fed - much more so than other places I've seen. They even answer and return phone calls from family most of the time which is a minor miracle these days.
  
  The facility itself is basic and dated, but it's clean and well lit. All the meals I saw were fine. They also have a full schedule of activities.
  
  Nobody wants to be in a nursing facility and they all have strengths and weaknesses but overall this is one you can absolutely trust with your loved one.

  Whether you're there for rehab or LTC, all of the staff is AMAZING!!! Someone is always buzzing up and down the hallway and there to help when you need them. They are all so friendly and compassionate. When I left mom to head home from my visits I knew she was in good hands. Did not worry one bit. Thank you for taking care of mom! I really do miss you all!

  My mom had a very good experience here. She had a lot of help from Yasmeer and Carl. Yasmeer is amazing. She is great at her job and very understanding, patience, considerate and respectful! She was able to get my mom to the bathroom dressed and all cleaned up in hardly any time. Yasmeer was also able to make me feel better when I would talk to her about my concerns with my mom. All together she is great and felt like a family member. We miss her already. Carl was very understanding and was great at explaining to me different ways I could help my mom. He took a lot of time to make sure I understood what he was doing so when she came home I would be able to do it. He was also very patient with my mom and respectful. I could really tell they cared about my mom!
