(August 11, 2023, 6:41 am)I arrived here 1 week ago and met Tereze, the caretaker/manager. The building I am in is absolutely beautiful, cathedral cabin ceiling, gas wood stove, and fireplace, and in it's original condition, it's not 'tuned up' into a new age, 'high end', overpriced, Manhattan inspired lodge like most Catskill Resorts. This place holds it's history, and therefore, as a songwriter, I'm content, because the 'spirits of the past' are still around and accessible....which means....I'm not struggling to 'write' lyrics and guitar parts all alone, as I did for years in Manhattan. The city of New Orleans is the same way for clarification. The landscape is wild, serene, silent, and stunning. And Tereze, a Latvian immigrant, is so caring, outgoing, and compassionate. I love this place, I'm still just getting settled. But I sense I may be here for a while. Thanks T!! You rock! ⚡️🙏⚡️

(October 11, 2022, 12:38 pm)A nice clean place to rest your head after some hard drinking and dancing. The mountain air helps immensely with hangovers. Also a good place for mushroom hunting.
