  Very nice and clean park. It has free parking. It has beautiful gardens and trails. The Chinese cultural garden is well kept but watchout for birds droppings if you walk in the grass. The dinosaur park is creative.

  One of Westchester County's premier parks for gardens, walking trails and events. An early spring walk at Lasdon Park was refreshing and envigorating. Beautiful color and landscape design. Great location off Rt 35 in Somers!

  This is truly a Westchester County gem. Beautiful, clean, paved walkways and accessible trails that are well taken care of. The flowers here are absolutely stunning. The park staff really do a good job of maintaining the place. This is a nice park to take a leisurely walk through or is the perfect spot to sit and meditate. Very kid and family friendly, really a great place to take the whole family.

  I take my toddler to Lasdon Park sometimes for the dinosaur garden and to take a walk around the lake in the Chinese Culture Garden. I usually bring a stroller, which is easier than chasing after her and telling her not to touch anything over and over. The dinosaur garden says it isn’t “stroller friendly” but we haven’t had any issues - it’s just a bumpy ride, much like several other dirt & gravel paths there.

I decided to take a walk and enjoy the Lasdon Park and Arboretum one mild summer day. I didn't need to think twice about whether it was worth a visit since there was no outrageous entrance fee. There actually is no entrance fee at all, although donations are appreciated. The gardens are beautiful and the standards are just as high as gardens which charge entrance fees.
