  Food was good, but not great. I had the rack of lamb and while it tasted good, I have had much better. The wahoo (fish of the day) was very good. Someone in our party ordered the salmon and said she enjoyed it.
  
  The service was excellent. Our server knew the menu very well and not only provided excellent suggestions, but helped accommodate a member of our party who could only eat gluten free items.
  
  The outdoor dining area was a beautiful environment with great views of sunset over Orange Lake.

  We went on a Saturday night- and even though it was cloudy and chilly, both indoor and outdoor seating were completely full. Good thing we had a reservation! The shortage of wait staff was evident- and there were several large groups . So patience is in order. Luckily, the view of the lake is calming as always! The food was fine - nothing fancy, but they were a little heavy handed on sauces for the fish dishes. I'd also recommend they print out the specials instead of having to tell them to everyone. Our reservations were for 6:30 and it was almost 1/2 hour before bread and drinks were delivered. At 7:30, the large parties left, and things were much better.

  The food, staff, scenery, service is amazing. We've gone to Lakeview House for many different occasions and have never been let down. Most recent lunch there we brought our toddler daughter. Hubby walked her down to see the lake and staff gave her a coloring book to color. Kids meal pizza was perfect size for her. And the cod tacos I had were perfectly tasty with little bit of a kick. Didn't save room for dessert this time, but if you go, remember to do so!

  My mother and I were visiting from Georgia and we really enjoyed our experience here! The restaurant is lovely and has a great atmosphere, the staff were all very kind and the food was absolutely amazing! The view from the restaurant is gorgeous as well. I definitely recommend Lakeview House to anyone who is looking for a fine dining experience in the area!

  I can't say enough about our service and the food we experienced last night! I only wish I arrived earlier to experience the beautiful views before darkness set.
  Everything from the Sicilian seafood chowder, to main entrees to the finale of Mudd Pie were beyond any culinary experience I've had recently.
  Our waiter, Daniel, and all other staff we encountered were exceptional in supplying amazing service and making us feel like we were their only customer, when they had their hands full. Job well done!
  I highly recommend the Lakeview House and we will definitely be making the trip back again one day.
