  Donna is a life- and sanity-saver. She was so kind and patient. As a first time mom experiencing serious breastfeeding issues (crying in pain every time it was time to nurse) she immediately knew what the issue was and helped put together a lactation plan to make sure I could feed my baby the way I was determined to achieve. If I could leave her more stars, I would.

  When my baby was around four months old, he started to gain weight at a much slower pace than he was up until that point. No other lactation consultant was able to help me pinpoint the issue except Donna. She is experienced with baby older than a month old whereas the other IBCLCs were primarily limited to newborns. She helped me notice some ties that were previously dismissed by unqualified health professionals and my baby and I happily continued our nursing relationship.

  Donna saved my breastfeeding relationship with both kids. Without her, I wouldn’t have nursed my now 5.5yo until 14 months and I wouldn’t be nursing my newly 1 year old. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate and dedicated to her job. She spent countless hours helping us figure out why both babies didn’t transfer milk well and why I was having supply issues. She provided emotional support when I wanted to give up countless times. She also is well connected in the industry to wonderful oral surgeons, craniosacral therapists and feeding therapists. If you want to work with the best, work with Donna.

  Donna is the BEST! In the first few days, baby was having a difficult time latching and feeding. She was dehydrated and both mommy and baby were struggling. Donna helped us work through it all in just one session- she gave me a plan that worked for me and baby, and checked in with us multiple times to make sure it was going well. Baby got back on track- pediatrician even said at a follow up "whatever you did to correct this, keep doing it!"
  2 months later, I developed pain and Donna saved the day again. Her well-rounded, non-judgmental approach is effective.
  Donna is so kind and gentle- very different from the LCs in the hospital. She genuinely cares and is so supportive and easy to work with.
  Highly, highly recommend!!

  Donna is amazing! I was having a decrease in my supply and I began to panic so, I found Donna on google and immediately called her. Within an hour, she called me back and Immediately set me up for an appointment. She provide me a plan to help increase my supply and it worked! It’s only been 3 days since I spoke with her and my supply has increased significantly! My little one is now happy and getting enough milk! I would definitely recommend Lakeshore lactation to any mom who is having problems with supply or just wants more information on lactation!
