  This place was extremely good. Service was fast and food was delicious. Desert came at same time as the ☕️. Everyone was super nice. the view is very calming and beautiful.

  I was trying to find a nice seaside restaurant on Long Island and found Lakehouse on Google. The restaurant could use a little refurbishing but the food was excellent! The pork chops was cooked to perfection and it was such a complex dish that was executed to perfection! Highly recommended!

  Definitely one my favorite restaurant! Starting with the fresh and grilled oysters, definitely one of the best I’ve had. The duck breast and leg is superb. My husband raves about their filet and mashed potatoes and their venison is amazing too. The cookie dessert is a must try. And of course their lovely bartenders (Shannon and Tamara) so attentive, friendly and really good drink mixers.

  The hostess was friendly and helpful, selecting a nice corner table for my first date. The wait staff were very patient and checked to ensure we did not need anything. Our water glasses were kept full. The restaurant is nicely decorated and spacious. I assume they are very busy in the season when the ferry boats are operating.
  Everything was clean, as were the bathrooms. My partner had the Berkshire Porkchops and I the Salmon. Both dishes were delicious, and their presentation was also very professional. Well worth a repeat visit in the near future. We were both too full for desert.

  I absolutely loved the Long Island Duck and their version of Clam Chowder. As a Holbrook South shore native this place does the area justice. Can't wait to experience the veranda that has Great South Bay views. 🙌 👏 👌 We also had the Fillet Mignon, Halibut and Roasted chicken topped off with Blood Orange Martinis! 🍊 😋
