  My car stop In Central Islip around 10pm. I called AAA for car towing service. They told me that it would be a 45 minutes. Kraken Towing showed up within 10 minutes. In the past for another incident a towing company took an hour and half. Mike the tow guy was very professional and considerate of my safety. He towed my car and brought me home safely. This was the best towing experience I ever had. I would recommend them anytime.

  On 1/17/23 I broke down on 495 and now only did they pick me and my car up. They were able to repair it same day and were reasonable with pricing. I will definitely be doing more business in the future and recommending them to everyone in the area for any work to be done

  A few months ago, I blew my right front tire while attempting to use the entrance to the Long Island expressway [495] as I was attempting to enter the 495 from the east bound service road entrance that is about 2000 feet east of the Sagtikos State Parkway. I managed to safely pull over and stop away from traffic but I was too far from an exit for me to walk and get help. My Acura did not come with spare and only had an air pump with a spray glue, which, I knew would not work because the sidewall's hole was about 3 or 4 inches long. I called for Acura road service only to find out that I would have a 4+ hour wait. A State Farm customer service road safety truck stopped to help with a tire change, but, without a spare, all he could do was confirm that I needed a new tire. I called a friend in the auto business and he told me that I should call Kraken Towing on Pond Rd in
  Ronkonkoma, NY. I called Kraken and explained my situation and the Kranen guy said would call me back. In fact, he did call me back a few minutes later to get my exact location and told me he would send someone within an hour or less. Much to my surprise, help arrived within about 30 minutes. The tow truck took me and my car to the Kraken Tow shop. The shop had to made several calls to find an appropriate tire and found one after several calls. My car was fixed and I was happy to have only been inconvenienced. That's what I call service!
  Thank You Kraken for your fantastic no hassle service and a great job. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs a tow or auto repair.
  
  FYI, since the blow out happened to me, the LIE in this area has been repaved as was the entrance I used. Thank You Suffolk County for finally fixing the long overdue reconstruction of the exceptionally poor road conditions in this area. I always wondered why I often saw disabled cars near the intersection of 495 and the Sagtikos State Parkway.
