Koru is an unusual fitness facility, more aptly called a wellness facility. Beautifully designed and decorated as a facility, and with an attention to all aspects of a person, it appealed to this 64 year old who is very tired of typical gym routines.

Instead of traditional gym training, a coaching or training session is an exploration of how my body works right now. Not someone running me through a standard set of exercises designed to make everyone into a 'muscle head.' Somehow, in one hour, my trainer/coach made me aware of posture and tight muscles, of how I stand and how I sit, in a way that has stayed with me and affected all my movement for the last week. Our session was quite remarkable. I recommend this gem of a place.

A great group of wellness minded practitioners. I have been doing mediation classes and Feldenkrais (Awareness Through Movement) group classes with Dayana who is excellent. I just purchased a 10 pack and look forward to trying other classes with Colin (a friend, which is how I first heard about KORU) and Amy.

Feldenkrais class and private session were amazing. Also, loved the #SOMA class, new to me and showing me a new way to stretch. All of this in a great wellness center with ice bath, sauna and warm dynamic atmosphere.
