I found KNIT during a shop crawl several years ago and it has become my go-to LYS. Cheryl is an amazing person and such a gifted teacher. My knitting skills have improved tremendously over the years thanks to Cheryl and her staff. (Cindy, Nancy, Kathy). I am happy being part of this wonderful group; many of whom have become friends. Even during the pandemic,
Cheryl kept us in the loop with Zoom Knit Nites, offering new ideas, and new ways to meet our knitting goals and needs for community. KNIT has a broad range of gorgeous yarns, some which are exclusive to the shop, priced comparatively to other high quality yarns and a wide array of knitting accessories, including buttons. Cheryl welcomes everyone to come sit at the table. I try to as often as I can.

This is a very nice, clean , orderly and well stocked store for knitting and crochet enthusiasts, like me. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and I wholeheartedly recommend them whenever and wherever I can.
There is a pay parking lot across the street with handicap accessible spots. The cost to park is only 25 cents per half hour as opposed to $2.50 and more in NYC.
The store itself is hard to see from traffic as it's on the side of the building, but it's worth looking for.
They often have knitting socials as well as special gatherings.
If you knit or crochet, go to KNIT!!!

Just left the space and it is just lovely. Warmly lit with delightful sunshine. The staff is super knowledgeable and just as warm. Miss Audrey was quite patient with me. I walked in as a super crochet newbie. I left feeling more confident and encouraged. Not such a newbie anymore. ;) I highly recommend this space for knitters/crocheters... also the materials and yarns are just delish! Hand died fabrics , and quality yarns.
