  I recently brought my cat in to Kirby's for a not-well visit. When I first called, wellness visits were booking 4 or more weeks out. Staff did a great job of getting me into a canceled appt very quickly. My cat had lost his winter weight and I was concerned because he seemed to be losing too much weight and seemed lethargic. Dr May checked my boy over, asked pertinent questions, and explained that my cat was still at a good weight, all vitals were good, and there wasn't a good reason to spend extra money running bloodwork unless I wanted to. I decided to wait & see what happened. When the heat wave broke, the lethargy vanished & he was back to his old self. I'm so grateful to Kirby for their support & not spending my money without good reason. A caring and helpful staff, decent prices, great medical knowledge and bedside manner are all reasons I keep bringing my cats back to Kirby Veterinary Hospital.

  Very friendly and compassionate staff. Always greeted with a warm welcome by the front desk whether it’s in person or by phone. I’ve seen all vets and I always leave feeling well educated on what was discussed and what my options are with my pets. I’ve never felt rushed by the vets, or any of the staff. One of my cats is a little “spicy” and the entire staff treats her with the same attentive care and kindness as any other animal. I feel confident in their skills (and continuing education) to provide the best care. Although they are extremely busy due to their outstanding ability and reputation there is a personal and comforting feeling walking in every time being greeted by name-both pet and I—that eases a lot of worry when my pets have been ill. Cannot say enough about how thankful I am for every member of this team. I imagine it’s an extremely difficult field to work in, especially when animals are sick or dying, and they all chose to show up 100% with a smile each day.

  This is the best veterinary practice in the area! We have been going to Kirby for over ten years. Make sure to book early because everyone loves them!

  After getting multiple in person referrals from local dog experts, we recently switched vets as Kirby is much closer than our previous vet and does repro work which is important to us going forward. The staff was wonderful, and both our tech Scott and Dr. Way were awesome to work with for our rare breed boy's first visit. They even took the time to add his breed to the computer system so his paperwork was correct.
