(August 3, 2022, 6:09 am)My mom is currently here in long term care. I am very happy and grateful for her care. I visit several times a week so i think a consistent presence also helps when any place sees family. If I have a concern about anything it is addressed promptly. My mom was also in rehab and we had a good experience there too, specifically it was the 3rd floor. My advice to anyone is to be constantly visiting and build a relationship with all the membersof staff from nurse managers, cna, dietician to houskeeping. EVERYONe. I cannot speak for anyone's past experience I can only speak for myself.. For me the key is to be a consistent presence and build relationships with everyone. Have respectful communication and know to say thank you and ask plenty of questions. I did hit one bump I was upset with and it was remedied immediately so i remain grateful and constantly present in person and calling to check in.

(May 12, 2022, 12:14 pm)My dear uncle Pasquale passed away on Holy Thursday. He was admitted on January 2021 to the 2nd floor pavilion. For the last year and four months the entire nursing staff was professional, kind, and caring. Ms Thompson the Nurse Manager would inform me of any health changes. I would often speak with other team members as well who were involved directly with his care such as the wound team, Director of Dietary, rehab, and social workers. These professionals along with his primary Doctor gave my family a gift. We had my uncle for a bit longer than we expected. It's with a grateful heart we say thank you to the entire staff at Kings Harbor. God Bless you all Donna Bischke
