Went for the first time and must admit that each and every item from the 30+ items of Maharaja Thali tasted so well and distinct in taste that I will recommend everyone to give a try. Its very difficult to maintain distinct taste when items are so many and over that they were so tasty and cooked using good ingredients that no feeling of having eaten too much or bloating happened after coming home. Appetizers were also very tasty and good in size. In last 4-5 years this was one of the tastiest and finest dining experience we have experienced in Princeton junction surroundings. Thank you Kesar team!!!
I did enjoy the Biriyani the food had too many herb's in it in my opinion. The rice had a such wonderful flavor but I had to spit clove's, big basil leaves, and all spice out. I would probably try the noodles next time. I will stay away from seasoned rice for now.
This establishment cannot be compared to others in terms of food and service. They have an unique (traditional) approach to service, which I love about them. It's unique because our tradition of mehman-nawazi is a lost art in most South Asian restaurants. At this restaurant each one of the staff members becomes the best host you can possibly ask for. They remember you and provide the comfort that you miss living away from your place of ancestry.
A very good place to visit with family and friends. Unimaginably designed ambiance with ancient artifacts made me remembering my mom’s and dad’s days they used to tell me while I was in India. We were a group of 4 friends and ordered some Indo-Chinese as well as some of their curries which were more savory than our expectations. We can find lots of places to have Indian cuisines but it’s really hard to find a place where we can enjoy our native authentic cuisines but this place made my dream come true. They have a big all-day menu where we can find varieties of dishes. Want to try many more items some other day, this place become my favorite place from today. Good food, courteous staffs….everyone’s only expectations and Kesar’s had fulfilled this. Will try their Maharaja(Bahubali) Thali very soon.
We went there based on what we heard, the hope and trust with which we reached there was fulfilled. Worthy visit. A variety of delicious dishes and on top of that very helpful, generous and friendly servers.... The very pleasant ambience, their delicious dishes and the intimacy received from our server Sagar made our visit memorable. He really made our day. He was very impressive and friendly amongst the waiters l've ever seen. Never saw this kind of service in any of an Indian restaurants inside NJ till this date. Wonderful hospitality provided. Highly recommending the Paanch Chaat Thaali, Tandoori Paneer Tikka Sizzler and their huge surprise Maharaja Thali. Definitely gonna visit again and again.
