  This was our first time staying here and overall it was a great experience. Staff were nice, bathrooms were cleaned regularly and the campground was neat and clean. Our site was quite large and nice however some sections of the campground have small sites. The lake was great and very refreshing. My only suggestion would be for an escort to show you to your site. We had never been here and wound up going down roads that were very tight for us to navigate through looking for our site. Thankfully a seasonal camper helped find our site and escorted us.

  We just got back from a week at Keen Lake Resorts, this was our first time here and was selected by family members as the destination of our annual Family camping trip for 2 main reasons. The first being location, it fell approximately halfway between us and our extended family we were meeting for the week, and secondly there were several rental options to choose from. My MIL rented one of the campers and my SIL rented one right next to them, the Terrace RV and the Lakeview RV. Originally, we found a spot on the water down by the highway that would fit our 30ft travel trailer and figured we were close enough to make the trek over to hang with them at their sites.
  
  Two days prior to our arrival date I get a call from Keen Lake, and I have to be honest my stomach dropped expecting the worst. When I answered I was pleasantly surprised by a staff member letting me know they had some full hook up sites in a quiet part of the campground open up and they would like to offer the upgrade free of charge. I explained it would depend on where it was as we were meeting family there and proceeded to explain where they were staying. Working with the staff member she was not only able to still upgrade me, but she found me one even closer than the original upgrade she had called to offer. Talk about AMAZING customer service!!
  
  Upon arrival there was not much space for trailer parking during the check in process but the check in staff was super friendly and helpful and the process was quick and smooth. They even provided the best angle for us to use to access the site and get the camper into the tight spots.
  
  As with most private parks the sites are smaller and very close together, but our site (S5) was beautiful and worked well for what we needed. The only true con I found was the fire pit was very small which makes Dutch oven cooking very difficult, and the seasonal campers who were present in our area were less than friendly. They very much put off the vibe we were unwelcome guests in “their area”. Unfortunately for them we made ourselves at home and enjoyed every minute of our week!
  
  The store was super cute and clean, and the ice cream flavors were AMAZING!! We will certainly return again if it fits into our schedule!
  
  Travel tip: stay on main roads (Route6) coming in, we followed the google directions and it took us on some pretty crazy mountain crossroads that are not fit for towing.

  The Campground is a delightful big resort with many amenities. The community of camp goers were friendly and everyone said hello to us and were kind and compassionate to our pups. The pet beach at the lake was a joy for our dogs. The spot for our RV was perfect and clean and all utilities worked flawlessly. Great place to stay!

  Great family campground. The staff were very friendly. The grounds were clean, and bath houses were kept mostly clean. You can't help the people who come make a mess. But they definitely get bleached throughout the day. Pool is kept nice and clean too. We will definitely return to this campground. We stayed on a tent sight, so I can't review the rentals.

  Had a great time with my family of 5 and bigger group totaling 13 people across 3 adjacent lake front camp sites. The sites were a good size - big enough for two 6-person tents with plenty of room left over for making s'mores over the fire pit.
  
  The bathrooms were kept clean and I appreciated their proximity to our sites. Note that in our bathroom there was only 1 toilet/sink/shower per sex, so there was sometimes a wait - get there early to avoid any hassle. Also it cost $.25/5 minutes of shower, FYI.
  
  The lake was beautiful and clean - we enjoyed the sunsets and wildlife (ducks, frogs, snakes & bats). The staff was always kind and helpful, and the general store/office has lots to offer in case you forget something. The main site has a nice beach with covered pavilion, chaise lounges, umbrellas, etc. Lots of extracurriculars like sports, movie nights, kid activities, etc., which all made for a great weekend with friends and family. We're already talking about coming back next year.
