(May 19, 2022, 2:15 pm)First time trying this for lunch today. We used to drive 30 minutes for Caribbean food...now we found a place 10 minutes away! Wow, flavor explosion! Delicious jerk chicken and curry chicken platters with rice& peas as well as veggie medley. What a great place! We will definitely be back for more. Thank you!

(November 14, 2021, 1:05 pm)Absolutely one of my favorite hidden gems in the Hartford area. This Jamaican/ soul food takeout restaurant is located inside of a convience store. Everything is incredible, from the Oxtail, to the Curry and Jerk Chicken. They fry the fish to order and the portion sizes are huge. For 12 or 13 dollars, you get enough for dinner and lunch the next day. Definitely take the drive if you’re ever in the Windsor area.

(August 18, 2021, 12:19 pm)Anyone in the East Windsor/Broad Brook area knows that we have a limited variety of food types, and if you're craving something other than pizza, burgers, or Chinese/Japanese food, you're basically stuck driving to Enfield, Manchester, East Hartford, or Springfield. When Karobean Kitchen opened I had to rush in to give it a try. I've been here quite a few times now and the food is incredible and priced right, and the guys working have always been very friendly. These guys know spice and it shows in the food. They do an incredible job balancing flavor and salt content - nothing here feels over-the-top salted. Don't overlook this place if you're looking for a change of pace from what the area offers.

(November 1, 2019, 2:03 pm)Good food excellent service and did I mention the food if you haven't been to Karobean Kitchen you need to come down and grab some Hawaiian Chicken or maybe Moms Mac and Cheeese either way you wont be disappointed
