Karen is by the far the most gifted, intuitive, well-trained family therapist our family has had the privilege of working with. She is compassionate, an incredible listener and is able to decipher what type of counseling method is needed in each scenario we presented to her. She has been an incredible conduit of healing for our family. I can't recommend or thank her enough!
I am a therapist, and as a breed we are often very choosy about our therapists. I had only a handful of sessions with Karen in 2019 (due to a job change), but I very quickly came to think of her as my therapist- because she was so very skilled, warm, genuine, and helpful to me as I puzzled through some difficult feelings. I deeply felt her support of me as a person. I have referred a number of people to her since then, and will continue to do so. Karen is a gifted clinician.
I can’t recommend Karen highly enough. She truly listens and cares about her clients. She makes it easy to open up and share with her because she is compassionate and kind. Karen is also honest and knowledgeable. She is able to understand people and help them become the best version of themselves! If your looking for someone that truly listens, cares and has your best interest at heart Karen is the choice for you.

Karen has a seemingly endless toolbox of approaches and exercises. The goings-on of our sessions went way beyond just “talk.” Just when I thought she had shared with us her most interesting and thought-provoking team-building exercise, she would surprise us with a new and equally engaging therapy. We both felt heard and understood during our sessions. We never felt like she took “sides,” and she was an excellent guide. It was not just the agreeable nature of our sessions that I found impressive, but also the substance that she was able to share with us through her work. From the most typical to the most sensitive of issues, she was ready to empower us with the skills we needed to navigate our relationship. It was comforting to intuit that she has helped others many times before with similar hang-ups. Karen was informative, pragmatic, encouraging, helpful, caring, and kind.
