  Three years ago, Kale's installed a beautiful cedar fence and gates, on my property. This year, I contacted Kale's about issues with the one of the gates and they immediately came out, diagnosed the issue, proposed a fix, completed the work perfectly, all at no cost to me, even though there was no warranty. Excellent service and excellent product.

  A LESSON from and ACCOLADES for KALES NURSERY
  In May 2018, I bought my wife a Kwanza flowering cherry tree, a combined Mother’s Day and Wedding Anniversary gift from Kales Nursery. The tree did not thrive – its leaves were spindly and had few cherry blossoms. I contacted Doug Kale, the owner-operator of Kales Nursery. Doug, a man of his word replaced the tree on October 28, 2020 for which his business gets my high accolades. He also provided a lesson that may be useful to other home owners.
  
  Doug Kale analyzed the problem with the tree as receiving too much water; the lawn around the tree is irrigated. His analysis was found correct when his workers dug up the old tree and found that the main roots were rotten. Doug Kale’s solution to the problem is to plant the new tree in a slight mound in a mixture of topsoil and sand. The pictures below shows the installation and the finished job with straw covering grass seed on the new mound. Notice the white protector on the tree, which can expand as the tree grows to prevent deer damage – another lesson from Doug Kale

  Had to do some spring containers in a pinch and lucked out on finding this gem. Well stocked with lush, vibrant annuals. Great inventory for being early in the season. Didn't have time to check the rest of the stock outside but I'm sure it's quality. Nice move placing a beautiful, blooming Cornelian cherry b&b right on the corner of the shop. If I had a bigger truck I would've bought it! Nice Felco pruning tool stash right at the check out counter. Costumer service was friendly and they know their plants. Can't wait to come back to see the summer annual/perennial stash.

  I have used Kales for the past couple of years to complete large projects at my home on the Jersey Shore. Firstly, they have resolved my backyard flooding when it rains with an amazing drainage system. Then they completed full yard grading and installed beautiful sod. I also worked with them on designing the landscape plans which were completed with high quality, spectacular mature trees and plantings. Kales was always available for any questions I had, and listened to my concerns and input. The crews are fantastic and are respectful, professional, knowledgeable and always on schedule. The office staff are great and easy to communicate with, and always let me know what was going on with my project. They say when they are coming to the house and show up when they say so or let me know when they need to reschedule due to the weather.
  I can’t say enough about how knowledgeable and professional this company is. I’m extremely pleased with my home’s outdoor landscape. They did a beautiful job! Thank you so much.
