I don’t usually have any issues when I see Dr. Nicasio. However, the office staff is a different story. The receptionist on my way in shouldn’t be explaining in length to me about how the practice got a bunch new doctors and over hundreds more patients, so therefore, I don’t bother trying to call us cause you’ll never get through as what she said. Again, on my way out of my appointment. She was telling another patient in front of her the same thing. Doesn’t look good for that office!
Also, I was told to get lab work done so when I was checking out that same receptionist should’ve asked me if I needed printed lab work request paper if I was going somewheres else. Now I have to either wait for it to come in the mail or drive. 45 minutes back out there to get a copy. They should be on top of their game!
Honestly-
I have ZERO understanding why other people had such poor (terrible), things to say about Dr. Nicasio. My experience briefly: he spent 20-40 mins (per appointment), addressing my complex thyroid disease, was NOT dismissive!!, very thorough, was detailed when explaining things to me, and FINALLY provided some semblance of diagnosis after me going to 30+ doctors/15 years of seeking ANY answers to my suffering. He is very clinical, and I think some people perhaps read his manner in some other light (?). Not I.

I have felt listened to and cared for. Dr. Nicasio is straight to the point and gets things done. He was able to get me a lot of answers I’d previously waited months for.
He is thorough and he is very matter of fact. I like this in a doctor. I feel very safe at that office, unfortunately not always the case with medical offices.
