For the BEST orthopedic doctors & staff, look no further then Somers Orthopaedic! The entire staff is very welcoming!
Dr. Joel Buchalter & his nurse practitioner, Lauren, have been wonderful to me for many years.
They are incredibly thorough in their exams. Answer all questions in a non hurried fashion. You can sense their concern for you as a person & patient. Best bedside manner!! Always had the best outcome for my surgeries. Family & friends that I have referred to Somers Orthopaedic have been extremely happy! Dr. Buchalter, along with his entire staff, made feel very much at ease. He was very thorough in explaining to me the different options there were for my situation. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Buchalter as my surgeon for the upcoming hip replacement procedure.

I was taken in soon after arriving and everyone was so polite and professional. I had X-rays taken right away and then went over them with PA Griger and she was great! We discussed my history and what might be causing my current pain. I did have to go elsewhere for an MRI but I would still recommend Somers Orthopedics to anyone needing such medical care!

It may seem strange, but getting my hip replaced was an amazing experience. Everyone involved was kind and compassionate. I woke up with no pain and I never had any pain post surgery. The team also kept my wife very informed throughout the process.

Without a doubt, one of the best medical practices I've been to. All staff are professional, helpful and always smiling. I've had several joints replaced with a couple more to go and I wouldn't go to anybody but Dr. Buchalter. He and his staff give you their undivided attention when speaking with you. Remarkable practice.
