  I have been going to the Jewish Center of Northwest Jersey for the majority of my life. I absolutely love the community here and no other temple I have visited has matched the feeling of family here. I am thrilled to be able to have my daughter attend services now and cannot wait for her to be bat mitzvah in this wonderful community!

  The Jewish Center of Northwest Jersey (JCNWJ) is a warm and friendly spiritual home. I have been a member since I moved to Washington in 1989. My children went through the Hebrew School and became Bar and Bat Mitzvah, and I have been involved in various committees serving different positions within the JCNWJ. Rabbi Dubin, Cantor Lazar and the entire congregation are like a second family. We are a small Reform synagogue with a close knit community who truly cares about each other. I feel blessed to have the Jewish Center in my life, and the wonderful friends I have made there. I highly recommend the JCNWJ to anyone looking for a spiritual home.

  Super friendly and warm congregation. My husband and I both grew up in towns with large Jewish populations. We moved to Warren county where we soon realized we were one of the few Jewish families. We shopped around and landed at JCNWJ about 6 years ago when our son was in Kindergarten. The Sunday school teacher welcomed him with open arms and he quickly grew to like Sunday school. He continues to be an engaged and active Jewish learner as he will soon will be preparing for his Bar Mitzvah. As adults in the congregation, we have met so may nice people here and know I can go anytime with or without my family and have people to talk to and catch up with. The Rabbi is wonderful with both adults and kids as well as being very approachable. Overall, I feel very blessed to have found JCNWJ.

  I joined JCNWJ three years ago when my daughter was of age to start Hebrew School. I researched various synagogues in the area and settled decisively on JCNWJ. The congregation members not only took the time to welcome my family, but made us feel a part of the congregation from day one. My daughter looks forward to attending Hebrew School every Sunday.... which has been an added bonus! During the Friday services the Rabbi encourages the kids to participate, if they choose. The Rabbi is kind and compassionate and makes a big effort to make Hebrew school fun and exciting!

  From the moment I walked into the door to the JCNWJ I was at home, and that was 8 years ago. My daughter attended Hebrew School and had her Bat Mitzvah. I spent most Sundays getting to know the parents and found it very easy to volunteer my time for the PTO and then the religious school and other committees. Warm, friendly, caring people are a staple here and we're involved with the local community helping those in need.
