  My claim was a little different than others since I had renovation insurance and not the typical homeowners. One of my toilets water supply lines burst during one of the winter storms and the water ruined 90% of the inside of my house which meant it all needed to be replaced (the insurance I had at the time considered it a burst pipe) and even though I did have heat in the home; they wanted to deny it immediately due my home being under renovation. I researched my options before the insurance co. was sending their adjuster out and found Heather. Heather was the only person out of the few companies I called to actually answer the phone herself and not have any secretaries doing her job for her. She was so professional, responsive and treated everyone like family. She answered every question I had and fought my insurance tooth and nail to get the claim paid out. The insurance and their adjuster threw every obstacle one can think of at Heather and she remained calm and assured me she would take care of everything which she did. I am so glad I used Jersey Girls Public Adjusting because Heather was a God send.

  I actually had a double loss. There were problems coming from the upstairs apartment that got my personal belongings into a total water loss. It happened to us twice. I didn’t know how I was going to get through all of this. I was so blown out mentally that I didn’t know what I was going to do. I had renters insurance but I couldn’t find the time to sit down to itemize my losses. I work full time and I just couldn’t make the time to do it. So the bottom line is I took the loss until a public adjuster, Jersey Girls, Heather Barile was referred to me and she changed my life. She did most of the work of itemizing my personals and she helped me through it all. First of all, she is a very nice and wonderful person that you don’t mind talking to. She knows her job because she proved it over and over again with me and other people that she has dealt with. 2nd, you want to call her. She will make everything so much easier to deal with. I thank God for her. she was truly a blessing to us. I am so ever thankful for her. I can’t thank her enough. She is right on target. Thank you again and again Heather. Please call and ask for her. She is the best at what she does. I don’t know what I would have done without her.

  In August of 2020, I came home from work and was walking through water up to my ankles. Apparently the water line to my ice maker on my fridge broke while me and my husband were working. It was a complete mess. My kitchen tile, bottom cabinets, hardwood flooring in living room, dining room, hallway & powder room were all ruined. At that point we didn't even know the extent of damage to the basement.
  
  We contacted our insurance company and they wanted to dry every thing and then see what needed to be replaced. We weren't happy with that so we contacted Heather, she came to our home and looked at everything and contacted my insurance company.
  
  She fought for what we were entitled to, we wouldn't have gotten 1/3 of that just going through the insurance company ourselves.
  
  Heather was a pleasure to work with and very quick to reply if we had any questions or concerns. Highly recommended!

  I wanted to share my positive experience with Heather from Jersey Girl’s Public Adjusting. After a hard winter, storms/heavy rain, and plenty of wind, my roof was suffering tremendously. Shingles were missing everywhere, and I now had a leak in my bathroom. After going through my insurance policy paperwork, I was convinced this was something that my insurance wouldn’t help with. Someone suggested to hire a public adjuster after going through a similar situation. I got ahold of Heather and she came out to look at my home. From the start she was completely honest and up front. She was excited to try and help me, and confident that she could get my insurance company to cover the damage. She had a few minor bumps along the way dealing with a less-than pleasurable insurance agent, but she never gave up and supported my claim. After a few months of back and forth between Heather and my insurance company, while also keeping me constantly updated on the status, I am proud to say I finally have a new roof! Without her persistence and knowledge, I would have never gotten my homeowner’s insurance company to cover this by myself. Heather has helped my family and I am forever thankful for her gratitude and success!! I would highly recommend Jersey Girl’s Public Adjusting to anyone in the future!

  This will be the most important review you will ever read. I will be 100% honest with my experience with Heather (Jersey Girl Public Adjusters). I am a younger home owner and lived in my home for a year and a half before my issues started to arise. We bought an older home and unfortunately, its beauty, only hides some major issues.
  My upstairs shower — the only shower in my home —decided to leak into my living room. I asked my local contractor to come out and take a look, praying for an easy fix. After a few minutes, he immediately knew this was no easy fix. As the price climbed and the issues and damages were rising, I was stuck in a bad spot. I could not afford the damages that my old house was creating, and it was a new homeowner's nightmare scenario: either take out a loan or call the insurance company.
  Well I called the insurance company, without back up. I believed their nice charade as they told me they had my back and they would take care of anything and everything. THIS IS A LIE. The insurance only cares about the insurance. Not you, not me, they are in the business of making money. After looking at the thousands in damages, they gave me pennies, and then did what I call "ghosted” me. That friendly insurance guy who would fix everything somehow wasn't there to answer how I was to fix 30 grand in damages with $4,000.
  Feeling more hopeless then before, I searched on what I could do. Someone suggested hiring a public adjuster. After some research, Jersey Girls popped up so I gave them a call. THIS IS THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. She immediately answered, friendly, understanding, and ready to work. With each question, she had answers. She set up an appointment to look at everything and figure out a game plan. With staying honest, we ran into a quick hiccup. My fiancée wasn't sold. Heather was eager, matter of fact, and ready to go yesterday, and we were scared and nervous. We were burned not too long ago by a person who swore we would be taken care of. How could we trust someone else now we just met? So we said we’d think on it. Heather was understanding, but determined. She waited a week and called me. We discussed various concerns and things to make sure that we knew for sure she had our best interests in mind. By the end, we decided to hire her.
  Just like that she was shooting out of the gate accomplishing more in 24 hours than we did in weeks. Heather argued and fought tirelessly to make sure not only were we getting the money we deserved, but accommodations we didn't know we were entitled to, like a shower at a nearby hotel. She never stopped, she didn't quit, and was always there to answer my calls. She would say over and over again, once I hire her she would take us on like family. I always thought how lame or gimmicky that sounded, but I was wrong. We felt like her family. She cared. She really wanted what was best. I cannot tell you how thankful we are. Do not take the insurance company on on your own. Hire Jersey Girls. Let Heather be the gritty family member you need to handle the hard times. She is simply the best.
