(August 27, 2023, 8:08 pm)Stopped in and ordered a large cheesesteak with provolone, fried onions and hot cherry peppers. Price was very reasonable and service good. Steak was big, juicy and on point with the peppers. Spicy as advertised, which I like. Would definitely recommend for a cheesesteak.

(June 12, 2023, 10:38 pm)Jay's is one of the best - if not the best - cheesesteaks in Spring-Ford area. Meat is well seasoned. I prefer mine with seeded roll, Cooper Sharp and fried onions. Cheese fries and the desserts are great too!

Ordered a cheesesteak hoagie and it didn’t disappoint. It was loaded! Filled coast to coast with meat. The bread was soft and the cheese was melted throughout the whole sandwich. Two bites in and I said “I think I found my new sandwich shop”! -

1st let me start by saying I work in South Philly daily. With that said I know the spots that make some fantastic sandwiches. I live in Montgomery County and not a single restaurant comes close to the sandwiches I get in Philly. Typically, I have to bring sandwiches home if we want something good. We'll things have now changed in Montgomery County with this restaurant. You legitimately have a place that ranks with the very best of Philly. This was my 1st time ordering from Jay's. If the quality remains true to what I received today I guarantee I will be returning for many years to come. No one in Montgomery County comes close to Jay's. Fyi I ordered there new 3 meat " Jay's Special Sandwich " on a seeded roll, with fried onions, mushrooms, broccoli rabe, and Cooper sharp cheese.
It is a gigantic monster of a sandwich that will blow your mind......Highly Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -

The place in general does not feel finished , nothing on the walls and the hand written menu is hard to read. A lot of pepper on the steak but it was good. Will be back in the future. For a new business in the area it was good !

Tried Jay's Steaks yesterday. First tried the onion rings. I picked it up and I could feel the batter on it but then I bit it. The crunch was great and it had good taste. I said "that's a good start". Then I looked at the steak. Liked the way it was made. Just enough steak on a half roll uncut similar to Steve's Prince streaks.
