  J Wilson was the most responsive and professional of several "slate roof specialists" I contacted. They were also the one I've seen servicing many of the homes in my neighborhood. They were on time for the initial inspection and the day of the repairs, which turned out to be several weeks earlier than quoted. The team that came out were very courteous and explained exactly what they would be doing. They even cleaned and straightened the gutters while they were up there. I should not have put off calling them earlier and will now be calling them annually to maintain our roof. Give them a call, you'll get what you pay for with total peace of mind!

  We recently utilized J Wilson Enterprises to repair our slate roof. J Wilson's team is by far the most professional group we worked with from estimate to project completion. The team provided multiple options for repair while also being flexible to our needs. During the repair process, the work was taken care of quickly; with all materials cleaned up before final signoff. We will most definitely work with J Wilson Enterprises for future improvements.

  There are not many slate roofers left. My main house and six outbuildings have slate roofs. I get repairs done every year. I find Jeff and Rob to be reliable and they come when they tell me they will come. The work crew is professional and craftsmen at performing the repairs. I have had nothing but good experiences with this company and highly recommend them.

  We engaged Wilson Enterprises after reviewing virtually all the slate roofers in the area, and we're confident our choice was the best one possible. We had aging slate roofs on our 100-year old house and two garages. There were many age-damaged slates throughout, and compromised gutters and flashings. Count us as very satisfied customers!

  For the past 25 years, we have used J. Wilson for all of our slate roof repairs and projects. They installed standing seam copper to the lower section to eliminate the problems we had with ice dams. We also had copper gutters & downspouts installed. Most recently they performed repairs as necessary to maintain our roof and added a section of copper gutter to our porch roof.
  J. Wilson’s technicians are always professional and willing to explain exactly what is being done. Work area is always left spotless.
