  I received several quotes for a new roof and was close to making a decision when I randomly saw a J & S Family Roofing truck on the PA Turnpike and thought "what the heck, I'll get one more quote." I called the number on the truck and left a message and Heather was quick to call me back and schedule an appointment for Dustin to come by the house.
  
  When Dustin arrived he was prepared, he was forthright and informative, and being the owner's son he knows his business inside and out. Dustin and I discussed several different options, shingle types, and colors and at one point I remember him speaking to the fact that J & S Family Roofing was a GAF Master Elite certified roofing company. Honestly, I thought "big deal, everyone probably says that" but I did some research after he left and found out that the designation of GAF Master Elite is awarded to fewer than 2% of all roofing contractors in the country and allows J & S to offer the "GAF Golden Pledge." This provides better and longer warranties than other roofing contractors can offer on both product and workmanship, so suddenly it was a big deal. I compared price, warranties, and Google reviews (like this one) for the 4 different companies I'd received quotes from and it was obvious that the GAF Master Elite certification made a difference and that J & S Roofing was the best company for me. I hired them the next day!
  
  Heather made scheduling very easy, she worked around my schedule and even though I had to change dates a few times, she always made it work. The install crew was on time, they were efficient, cleaned up after themselves thoroughly, and the roof looks beautiful. I now have piece of mind of knowing that I won't have to worry about my roof, or anything that may go wrong, for a long time.
  
  I can't tell anyone who to hire to fix or replace their roof, but I can, and have told people, I'm extremely happy that I called J & S and gave them a shot!

  J&S did an amazing job every step of the way for our roof replacement. They were thorough during the estimate and answered all questions we had, while also leaving their contact information and encouraging us to call with any additional questions. Once the estimate was accepted, our roof was replaced within 2 weeks and Meryl was very responsive while coordinating with us and the J&S team to find a date that worked best. On the day of the replacement Dustin was available for urgent questions and never made us feel pressured while explaining any unexpected findings when replacing our old roof. As homeowners doing a roof replacement for the first time the entire crew made us feel comfortable and well informed throughout the entire process. We really loved that Dustin walked us around to check the work on the day of and Meryl reached out two weeks later to assure that we were still satisfied. Overall a great experience and we would highly recommend J&S roofing and will use them again as needed in the future :)

  J & S family roofing did a great job. The complete roof started at 7am and was finished with cleanup by 2:30 pm. After the roof was torn off there was more plywood damage than first thought, added to cost . I was appreciative with their honesty and knowledge of what had to be done. Done the right way. I am very happy with the job and would highly recommend them for your roof.

  Meryl, Dustin, Kevin and their team are fantastic. They were on time, professional, fit us in quickly and fixed our roof leak with ease. They also came in the lowest out of three estimates. We highly recommend them for any roof needs! Thank you!

  We had J&S replace our 36 year old roof and install new gutters. They did a fantastic job from what we can tell so far (and we’ve had one tornado warning and a couple significant downpours)! We primarily worked with Dustin who was really great at answering all of our questions and never made us feel like any question was over the top. They were extremely accommodating of all our requests and kept us in the loop as the work was being performed. They came back multiple times to clean up and went above and beyond in making sure our house looked perfect :) We interacted with Heather, Meryl, Kevin and Stu all at some point in the process and they all shared the same attitude of treating you like you are family. Overall they made a stressful time go easier on us and we are happy to have worked with them.
