  I have had two experiences with physical therapists. The PT at the 1st location I was attending up and left and there was no replacement. I randomly chose Ivy Rehab and am so glad I did. Erica seems to really understand my condition and has given me exercises for range of motion but also strengthening exercises which have helped me tremendously. She is always upbeat and encouraging and makes PT an enjoyable experience.

  I started going to the millstone office after an on the job back injury. At the beginning I was in pain either sitting or standing and was worried I wouldn’t fully recover. Three months later I am pain free, I’m back to work and doing everything I want to do and learned new techniques to keep my back strong and prevent future injuries.
  
  I saw other physical therapists there but Alex made the largest impact. He makes sure your doing the movements correctly which brings back your confidence and a positive attitude that is encouraging and makes it easier to show up and try harder.

  After having a newer form of ACL repair and meniscus surgery, I began my rehab at Ivy in Marlboro because of their connection to HSS. Here I met Erica Kurc, who at the time was the director of that location and she took over my after surgery care and rehab. Erica quickly showed interest in learning more about this unconventional procedure, even going as far as setting up time with my surgeon to present his work to other PTs across the Ivy network. She has curated a program that will not only help me rehab, but correct other bad habits that could lead to future reinjury. With Erica, you are not just getting a PT, you are getting someone who truly cares about the wellbeing of the patient. She is an extremely experienced professional, knowledgeable and above all caring. I now travel much further to this new location because she provides top of the line care. Highly Recommend Erica for any type of physical rehabilitation.

  Having put off TKR for many years due to fear and covid, the escalation of pain from my degenerative osteoarthritis forced me to seek surgery this October 2022. My surgeon prescribed pre-op PT and Ivy Rehab was a recommended HSS facility. Erica Kurc performed my evaluation session, and I was so impressed by Erica’s knowledge & attitude that I only wanted her for my Pt. Erica prepared me physically and mentally for the surgery. Her goal was to strengthen my leg before surgery and have me identify the specific muscles I needed to train through intensive exercise sessions. Erica’s years of experience, professionalism and vast knowledge of TKR prepared me for the surgery and gave me confidence by knowing what to expect. Now 2 weeks after surgery Erica’s continued positive attitude and support has helped to accelerate my healing and accomplish every new goal .
